In the latest episode of The Walking Dead, the Wolves have arrived in Alexandria.
Last week, Rick and Company were executing a plan to get rid of the walkers he and Morgan found in a quarry. Unfortunately, things went awry when a horn of some kind started blasting as they were leading the walkers away from Alexandria. This week, the reason why was abundantly clear: the Wolves had arrived in Alexandria and only wanted one thing. They wanted blood.
What the Wolves didn’t count on was Maggie and Carol, two badass women who know how to use a damn gun. Carol, who hasn’t seen much action since she and the group arrived in Alexandria, is almost itching to kill something (or someone). As all hell breaks loose, Carol disguises herself as a Wolf in order to lay waste to the psychos as she makes her way to the armory. Meanwhile, Maggie takes over for Deanna, who can’t seem to take command and help her people. I get it, her husband was killed. But buck up woman! It’s the zombie apocalypse! Save that stuff for later.
Jessie let out some of her aggression when she was attacked by a Wolf in her home. She picks up a pair of scissors and goes to town, her son Ron coming home just in time to see the whole bloody mess (who, by the way, owes Carl a bit fat thank you for saving his life). When a woman’s fed up, there’s no telling when she’ll snap or what she’ll do. Abusers, take note.
As everyone scrambles to try and deal with what’s happening, Morgan makes it back in time to help. But he’s not one to kill. He lets some of the Wolves go (which you know will bite him in the ass later) and tries to keep Carol from blasting everything in sight. She’s got her own issues, so we’ll see how that plays out later in the season.
How will Alexandria recover from this latest setback? What’s up with Morgan and the Wolves? And will this latest attack send Carol further down the rabbit hole?
The Walking Dead airs on Sunday at 9 p.m. on AMC.
