I know, I know. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted. Well, having a regular job can sometimes get in the way of creativity. But fear not my darlings, I am still here! The holiday season is upon us and New York City is covered in Christmas splendor. If you’ve never been to New York during the Christmas season, you are missing out. The decorations around the city are magical, the holiday markets are chock full of treats and treasures and the streets are filled with people ready to open their wallets.
The holidays also mean I’LL BE ON VACATION!!! I’m writing this post on my very first day of vacay and I am beyond giddy. Not only does it mean I won’t be working for a few weeks, but it also means that I’ll be posting until the end of the year. My crazy work schedule is done and I’ll have time to read and share my thoughts. Stay tuned for my reviews of Becoming by my Forever FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Barracoon by Zora Neale Hurston, Good and Mad by Rebecca Traister, and a few more. I’ll also be posting my thoughts on the film adaptations of Dumplin’, The Hate U Give and The Darkest Minds, which were all on BuzzFeed’s “19 Books to Read Before the Movie Comes Out in 2018” list. And, of course, I’ll be (finally) catching up to The Walking Dead.
So much to do. But now, plenty of time to do it.
